Position 1: Manager, Layout Design and Enhancement
Duty Station: Head Office (Construction Projects and Building Administration)

Requirements
Education and Experience
BSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, and Management with a minimum of twelve years of experience and from which two years on Supervisory level.
Languages
Proven proficiency in Afan Oromo, Amharic, and English languages is desirable
Main Roles and Responsibilities
• Taking care of all contract administration tasks in collaboration with the Construction Projects Manager,
• Setting the standard of construction materials on specifications and recommending changes in already prepared specifications,
• Conducting periodic supervision of construction works and meetings on-site and making sure problems that affect the progress and quality of works are solved in a timely manner,
• Checking interim and final payments requests submitted by the Contractor and making sure all contractual obligations are carried out by the Contractor prior to payment approval,
• Checking specifications, bill of quantities, and takeoff sheets that are used in a new contract, supplementary contracts, variation orders, or payments,
• Checking construction drawings and making the appropriate adjustments or modifications, if need be,
• Following-up on the status of the construction works and checking submitted periodical reports to be able to take timely actions,
• Coordinating Sanitary and Electrical Engineers both in-office and site work
• Giving the appropriate order and instructions to the contractor in relation to the construction works,
• Checking the construction progress of the project against the works schedule submitted by the contractor and requesting for the revision of the same whenever the contractor lags behind schedule,
• Checking and correcting the construction materials, labor, and machinery delivery schedules of the contractor and see to it that construction materials, labor, and machinery are delivered in accordance with the schedule,
• Checking laboratory test results submitted by the contractor and comparing them against accepted standards for approval, rejection, or other action necessary,
• Assisting in the preparation of various proposals, preparation, and evaluation of prequalification and bid documents, and conducting of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies,
• Assisting the construction projects management in all project management processes stated here under:
• Project integration management
• Project scope management
• Project time management
• Project cost management
• Project quality management
• Project human resource management
• Project communication management
• Project risk management and
• Project procurement management
• Acting on behalf of the Director, Construction Projects Management in the absence of the same.
• Evaluation/preparation of interior designs when interior designs are prepared with or without the involvement of interior designers,
• Handling architectural design approval and construction permit processes and issues involving approving bodies of the government,
• Supporting in the preparation of tender,
• Checking and giving recommendations for approval of the architectural designs and modifications submitted by a consulting firm,
• Checking and giving recommendations for approval of the architectural working and detail drawings submitted by a consulting firm,
• Preparations of BOQ as per the approved Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Sanitary, and Mechanical Drawings when projects are handled in-house,
• Preparation of detailed material breakdown, manpower crew allocation, and cost analysis for projects,
Position 2: Architect

Requirements
Education and Experience
MSc/BSc Degree in Architectural Engineering with a minimum of five years of experience.
Languages
Proven proficiency in Afan Oromo, Amharic, and English languages is desirable
Main Roles and Responsibilities
• Architectural design preparation (plan, sections, elevations, 3D render, animation…etc.), Architectural design modifications, and preparation of architectural working and detail drawings when projects are handled in-house,
• Evaluation/preparation of interior designs when interior designs are prepared with or without the involvement of interior designers,
• Handling architectural design approval and construction permit processes and issues involving approving bodies of the government,
• Supporting in the preparation of tender,
• Checking and giving recommendations for approval of architectural designs and modifications submitted by a Consulting Firm,
• Checking and giving recommendations for approval of architectural working and detail drawings submitted by a Consulting Firm,
• Assisting in the supervision task to make sure that the Architect’s intentions are properly addressed,
• Supporting the Construction Projects Management team in any other matters related to Architecture.
Position 3: Building Administrator
Duty Stations:

Education and Experience
BSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology Management, Materials, and Supplies Management or any Other Related Field plus three years of relevant experience.
Languages
Proven proficiency in Afan Oromo, Amharic and English languages is desirable
Main Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure the proper functioning of the building to meet the required service.
Ensure preventative maintenance of the building is conducted based on the maintenance cycle set for building and follow up the implementation of maintenance
Supervise, control, and monitor the activities of the assigned plumbers and electricians.
Ensure that the building has got enough supply of electric power and water
Follow up the building is being properly cleaned and damaged furniture, office equipment, and other disposable materials are timely removed from the vicinity by communicating user organ on the building
Administer rent contract of the building user
Collect rent income from the user
Pay utilities used by the building for government offices periodically
Position 4: Manager, Operation Management I

Education and Experience
BA, Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, and other Business-related fields and All Staff who have working experience of at least four years of relevant banking experience.
Main Roles and Responsibilities
Ensures that correct receipts and advices are issued to customers for all transactions.
Approves and conforms transactions per approval limit.
Checks and signs general ledger position after verifying its accuracy against proof sheets.
Reconciles and follows-up accounts, and follow up long outstanding items of suspense nature
Ensure timely settlement of suspense accounts,
Ensures proper journalizing, balancing, and posting of daily transactions
Analyzes the genuineness of branch expenses
Checks, signs, or countersigns on documents and all transaction tickets
Close the income and expense accounts of the branch
Check blocking order, account closing, lost instruments report, and registration of delinquent customers
Adhere to branch security requirements in control of negotiable instruments
Balances daily cash transaction
Ensures the availability & maintenance of working equipment and sufficiency of stationery materials
Perform other assigned duties by the supervisor
Position 5: Internal Controller II

Main Role and Responsibility
• Post-check validity of tickets and daily opened accounts, are as per policies and operational procedures of the bank
• Makes sure that computations, journalizing, and posting of daily transactions/entries conform with operational procedures,
Ensures daily transactions are posted to their specific accounts properly
Checks loan files, disbursements, and repayments
Check documents of trade service activities,
Ensures all required information on payment and deposit instrument/vouchers are available and correct
Ensures that payments are effected as per policies, procedures, and directives of the bank• Post checks the particulars of any payment and deposit tickets,
• Ensure the correctness of customers’ signature for those transactions processed by the makers,
• Record and follows up rectification of irregularities observed
• Makes surprise checks on cash and cash items
• Take surprise run-up of tracer balances and outstanding items and ensures they conform with books of records
Position 6: Store Management Officer

Education and Experience
BA Degree in Management /Marketing /Economics/ Accounting or business-related field with a minimum of three years of relevant banking experience.
Languages
Proven proficiency in Amharic and English languages is desirable and having Knowledge of other local languages is advantageous.
Main Roles and Responsibilities
Receives goods inspection report and credit invoices and accepts/returns the item per the report,
Receives copy of purchase order/contract from Procurement Officer & Provisional receiving of goods from supplies,
Ascertain goods delivered to store are in compliance with purchase contract/order,
Counts, receives the items, checks the document & prepares store receiving voucher,
• Signs store receiving voucher with supplier,
• Hands over receiving voucher and credit invoice to procurement Officer (Maker) for payment preparation,
• Receive store requisition from user organs, checks and determine the quantity of items to be issued,
• Prepare store issue voucher, sorts, counts items,
• Signs issue voucher with user organ, handing over the items and updates bin card records,
• Registers fixed assets issued on register book,
• Receives and register returned goods,
• Prepares goods transfer form for returned functional items and issue the item through transfer and send a copy of returned/disposable items to Finance Process,
• Receives & registers disposable items on disposable items list,
• Handles stock reconciliation activities periodically,
• Hands over disposable items to winner by ensuring that payment is effected,
• Handles petty cash and effect minor loading/unloading payments,
• Performs other related duties given by the supervisor.
